We’re one of the last brands that actually makes not only our own boots, but the leather they’re made with. We own our own leather tannery, stitching factory and outsole factory, so we control the quality at every step. We guarantee it.Â

We always made high quality, handcrafted leather goods for other companies, but after decades of putting other companies’ logos on our products, we decided to expand our family’s legacy of quality and put our own name on our products.
For years we designed and produced other brands’ stuff. But something interesting happened...
Almost daily someone would walk past our office and see our products in the windows. They’d stroll on in hoping to get their hands on quality leather goods. Only we weren’t selling anything. Day after day, the community asked us to open shop.
Finally, we listened. In 2019 we opened our first retail store right here in our office building, where our headquarters is still located today.
We believe that haste makes waste and good things are worth waiting for. We’re dedicated to providing the highest quality every step of the way. Launching our brand was no different.
Although our shop here in Milwaukee opened in 2019, it took over a year for us to launch our website and our first season of Milwaukee Boot Co. products. In the meantime, our shop only sold products we made with other brand names on them.
Now we have expanded our Milwaukee retail footprint to nearly 3,000 sqft in the 3rdStreet Market and a gift shop at the iconic Iron Horse Hotel.
All of our ambassadors are local makers and shakers, making a big impact in our great city. From fighting fires to creating youth programs, they make Milwaukee better. We believe lifting one voice lifts us all. That’s what Milwaukee is all about.
We take pride in the amount of time it takes to handcraft each boot, something that fast-fashion will never understand.
That’s why we prioritize quality of our people and our production practices. The quality naturally extends to our products and that’s what we’re all about.Â
